What Does the Buying/Install Process Look Like?

1. Outreach

Someone from our operations team will reach back out to you and we’ll discuss what you’re looking for. We’ll also answer any preliminary questions about our products and install process. If you’d like to move forward, we’ll schedule a time to come out to your home and do a free sales consultation.

2. Sales Consultation

During our sales consultation, we’ll go in depth with you to hash out the finer details of your vision and budget for the walk-in tub or shower. We’ll walk through your bathroom with you and take the preliminary measurements to ensure we land on the right tub/shower to fit your space.

From there, we’ll go over our products, add-ons, and services with you and help you build the best tub/shower to suit your needs, vision, and budget. We’ll draft up an itemized invoice with you in real time so there’s no surprises on the price.

The purpose of the consultation is to help you build the best bathroom for your budget, not to push a sale. We only move forward if and when you are ready.

3. Ordering Materials

When you’re ready to move on with the install, we’ll order and assemble the components for you and we’ll schedule out a time to do the demo, install, and final remodel. Ideally, we aim to schedule the remodel close to the delivery window for the components so we can complete every step of the process on consecutive days.

This minimizes the amount of time your bathroom is under construction. The vast majority of our tub deliveries take about two weeks. In rare situations, the delivery window might be larger than usual. We’ll work right alongside you to keep you looped in with every update and we’ll be at the ready to coordinate our schedule with you as we get our confirmed date.

4. Demo Phase

Once our mutually agreed upon demo date arrives, we’ll come to your home bright and early (but never earlier than you’re comfortable with). We’ll identify a walking route from one of your home’s entryways to your bathroom, and then we’ll take precautions to make sure the route is protected and construction debris is contained. This typically looks like: gently moving fragile items out of the way, covering vulnerable parts of the floor with protective film or tarps, and covering the fragile parts of your bathroom in plastic to protect the surfaces.

We’ll disassemble and remove your old tub or shower surround and carry the debris out to our trailer for disposal. If we have to do any significant dust generating work, like wood cutting, jack hammering, and sawing, we may bring in a dust vacuum and put up additional plastic to contain any airborne debris. Once the demo is done, we’ll do a preliminary clean of the bathroom and our walking route. We’ll pack our supplies in a neat corner of your bathroom, and return the next day for the install.

5. Install Phase

If we haven’t already, we ensure that the tub/shower components are brought to your home. We generally have the supplies shipped to directly to us, so you don’t have to coordinate anything.

We’ll begin the preliminary remodeling of the construction space and we’ll assemble and install your tub or shower. Depending on the length of the delivery window and the intensity of the install, this phase typically floats between 1-3 days.

If any phase of the install requires a temporary shutdown of the water supply or associated electric breakers, we make sure they’re turned on ASAP and all new connections are properly tested.  Once the install is done, we typically move right in the final remodeling phase.

6. Final Remodel Phase

In this phase, we blend your new tub or shower in with the rest of your bathroom. New or remodeled walls are painted and textured, the finishing touches are put on your tub/shower surround, and a final clean is performed in your bathroom and walkway.

Our goal is to remove every trace of our construction and remodel, with the exception of all of the snazzy new bathroom features you paid for. Before we go, we’ll run a final test of your tub or shower to ensure that everything looks and functions perfectly.

What Happens After That?

You get to enjoy your new bathroom with the peace of mind that every part of your purchase was made with quality parts and expertly installed. For tubs and showers purchased and installed through us, we offer a 4-year warranty on our work. Our tub manufactures, American Tubs and Ella’s Bubbles offer lifetime warranties on the vast majority of their components, including the frame, jets, doors, seals, and finishes. In the rare event anything comes up, you are warmly welcome to reach out to us and we’ll help you navigate the warranty and repair process. Integrity Remodel can also install walk-in tubs purchased through other vendors; we warranty our work on those installs for two years.
