Parsing out a budget for purchasing a walk-in tub and its installation is traditionally challenging, as the pricing of tub configurations, shipping costs, and install expenses vary wildly. Many tub sellers and installers tend to avoid providing functional price ranges on their websites entirely and opt for pushing sales consultations first. While understandable from a sales perspective, it makes potential customers jump through hoops before they can get their prices.
At Integrity Walk-in Tubs, we bundle our products and installations in packages to simplify the process. Both of our Walk-in Tub manufacturer catalogue pages have the pricing for these packages in various configurations (pictured below). These prices are standardized and fit most scenarios, especially for standard sized soaker tubs. However, larger tubs with more complex configurations will require more intensive installs, such as moving drains, widening doors, and running new power outlets for the tub.
These are “additional install expenses”, which are necessary to complete some installs. We’ve listed and itemized these expenses below, so you can budget for your walk-in tub ahead of time and know what to expect during your sales consultation when you’re ready to buy. Our installation packages are completely comprehensive, we handle every detail of the remodel, installation, and construction clean.
What’s Included with the Standard Install Package?
Our standard install package, which is bundled in with the listed pricing for our tubs, include:
🔹Delivery of all your products and materials to your home by our install team, so you don’t have to worry about any shipping shenanigans.
🔹Covering vulnerable areas and surfaces in the remodel site with protective plastic
🔹The tear down and removal of your old tub or shower
🔹The cleanup and disposal of all construction debris
🔹Prepping existing plumbing, such as the hot/cold supply lines, for temporary shut off
🔹Removal and reinstallation of the toilet and other bathroom fixtures as needed (if they get in the way of the tub install)
🔹Installation of the walk-in tub, including connecting it to the pre-existing plumbing and electrical lines
🔹Repairing or replacing the green board wall surrounding the tub (as needed)
🔹Installing a decorative strip of tile in front of the walk-in tub, if needed to blend it into your bathroom
🔹Masking off and repainting adjacent drywall around the tub, as needed
🔹Installing a 12″ tall backsplash of cultured marble around the tub.
🔹Up to two complimentary heavy-duty grab bars, installed as needed.
Additional Install Expenses

Plumbing
🔹Relocating the drain line: +$650

Remodeling Interior Doors (may be needed for extra-large tubs)
🔹Widening doorways for tub access: +$600 per door
For each door we widen, we’ll also remove and repair the surrounding drywall as needed. This also includes repainting and retextured the affected drywall to blend it in with the rest of bathroom. We’re really good at color matching repainted surfaces. Whether or not we can get our hands on your original paint, our final touchups are guaranteed to blend excellently.
Optional Upgrades
Both Ella’s Bubbles and American Tubs have a wide variety of optional accessories for their tubs, beyond just the systems. Common accessories included heated seats, aromatherapy models, and waterproof tub pillows. When it comes to the install side of things, there are a variety of areas where we can provide upgrades, such specialty faucets/shower heads, additional grab bars, specialized cultured marble and TrueStone surrounds for your tub space. During your sales consultation, we’ll go over these options together with you at your leisure. These upgrades are purely optional, so we offer them but never pressure them.
