Integrity Remodel has partnered with Avonti Kitchen and Bath to produce showroom level custom walk-in showers. Avonti is a highly rated cultured marble manufacturing company that produces counter tops and surrounds for high end kitchens and bathrooms. We use those same premium materials to construct beautiful showers that can be readily tailored for greater style, functionality, and handicap accessibility.
The owner of Integrity Remodel, Keith Waterman, has a wealth of experience in designing, remodeling, and constructing high-end bathrooms. With a good tools, materials, and partners, Integrity Remodel has an excellent track record of building some of the most beautiful and functional bathrooms in the industry. Additionally, Integrity Remodel has been retrofitting bathrooms for handicap accessibility for years, so whatever your budget and vision is for your shower, we’ll make sure it safe and accessible.
What is Cultured Marble?
Cultured marble is a specialized material made of crushed stone and special resin. The crushed stone gives it astounding durability and the resin makes it light, moldable, and water resistant.
Dyes and pigments are added to the resin during the manufacturing process to produce a beautiful variety of colors and patterns. The final product is then sealed with a protective get coating that gives it a smooth, glossy surface.
Cultured marble can mimic the appearance of a variety of natural materials and textures, emulating marble, granite, sandstone, ivory, and obsidian. It can also come in a variety of bright colors and creative patterns such bright blues and crimson reds.
What Kinds of Showers Can We Build?
Each shower is built upon a custom shower pan, a shallow, non-slip, basin that forms the floor of your shower and feeds into the shower drain. We can tailor the size and color of the pan to your preference, space, and budget.
Once we set the shower pan, we cover the adjoining walls of your shower with the cultured marble slabs of your choice. This forms the foundation of your shower that we will build the following features on.
During your initial sales consultation, one of our expert contractors will go over a variety of custom features for your shower based on your priorities, needs, and budget. These include:
Water Fixtures
We walk you through choosing the type, color, and features of your shower head. We have options for specialized shower heads with adjustable spray modes, detachable shower heads and accessory shower wands, and even specialized heads that can emulate waterfalls.
Whichever you choose, we’ll work alongside you to ensure its paired with an aesthetically matching drain.
Accessibility Options
Every custom shower from us comes standard with two heavy duty grab bars, which we’ll mount in optimal places for you during the install. On top of that, we can add additional grab bars, custom cultured marble benches, and easy to reach placements for shower controls/wands.
Shelving
We’ll work alongside you to find the ideal type, size, and placement of shelving in your shower. We can build recessed shelving spaces into your cultured marble surround, or we can seamlessly mount corner shelves inside your shower. All of the shelving is fabricated from cultured marble, so it blends right in with the rest of your surround.
Lastly, we’ll determine what kind of enclosure you’ll want based on your preferences and accessibility needs.
Enclosures
Apart from the cultured marble walls, we can install glass shower enclosures and doors. These glass enclosures can be custom tailored to your space based on how many walls surround your shower and the type of entry you want.
Depending on the available space and your needs, we offer a variety of entry options, including inward swinging, outward swinging, and sliding glass doors. If your shower sits in an alcove and you’re looking to save money, we can instead opt for a nice shower rod and curtain.
What Does Pricing Look Like?
We typically sell our custom showers bundled with the installation as packages. This includes the (free) sales consultation, the shower materials, the tear out of your old tub/shower, and the finished installation of your new shower. We’re not done until your new shower is finished, clean, and ready for use. Our installation packages start at $9k for the base shower, which still includes the custom cultured marble surround, the two heavy duty grab bars, and a quality drain and showerhead. From there, the price slowly rises with additional add-ons. Every shower we do comes with the provision and installation of those two heavy duty grab bars. So, every shower, regardless of price, is a safer shower.
