Benefits of Walk-in Tubs

Walk-in Tubs Are Safe

Walk-in Tubs are designed with safety in mind. With wide swinging doors, well-placed grab bars, textured floors, and tall inside benches, walk in tubs are safe and easy to get in and out of. Opposed to regular bathtubs, with tall sides that require a high degree of coordination to step over, walk-in tubs have a low and easy clearance to get in, typically less than 4 inches high.

Walk-in Tubs are Comfortable

Our quality walk-in tubs have contoured inside benches and can be kitted out with water jets, heated seats, backrests and neck pillows. As opposed to sitting or lying in a low, hard, slippery bathtub, walk-in tubs offer a comfortable experience that can be easily built to suit your preferences.

Walk-in Tubs are Therapeutic

Walk-in Tubs can be outfitted with water and air jets, much like high end hot tubs and jacuzzies. These jet systems deliver soothing massages during your warm bath, which are not only comfortable, but also come with an array of health benefits. Hydrotherapy treatments, such as hydro massage therapy, can reduce high blood pressure, stress, relieve sore joints, and reduce pain.

Walk-in Tubs are Game Changing for Caregivers

Mobility restrictions and balance challenges are mitigated with easy access steps and intentionally placed grab bars. Placing a loved one in a walk-in tub is gently guiding them up the short step and into the wide bench, no precarious bending or major weight bearing support needed.

Once placed in the tub, occupants are high up enough that caregivers can tend to many of their needs without having to lift them, bend down, or worry about them slipping and getting hurt.

We also have walk-in tubs specifically designed for wheelchair users, allowing individuals to readily slide out of their chair and onto the bench with minimal assistance.
